In April 2004, the Bowers family bought the hotel.  Ron, Peter and Mary believe Lagg is a very special place and they want their guests to enjoy the tranquillity and rustic charm that are the unique characteristics of their home.

Having undergone some refurbishment, Lagg has thirteen bedrooms, including two single and two family rooms, two dining rooms, a residents lounge, sun lounge and lounge bar.  Log fires blaze throughout the public areas with the homely smell of burning logs to welcome guests in.

All bedrooms are of good proportion with en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, colour television.  Most of the bedrooms overlook the extensive gardens with the front and side facing rooms enjoying the best views towards the river, garden and surrounding woodland.
